Inclination
Hallie Fogarty
Poetry
Getting everything
you asked for and wanting
more:
twist of temper,
the sun swollen with light,
fast violence through speakers,
Specificity entangles me,
infuriates. Conundrums me.
I once wished I could live long enough
to experience everything.
Thank god my lashes
didn’t work right for wishing.
